Automation vs Human Connection

Automation has its place. But has the drive for efficiency diminished our ability to connect in a meaningful way?

Nick Bennett spends hours a day personally interacting with his network on LinkedIn, and shares why he won’t trade human-to-human engagement for the convenience of automation.

I don’t even know if you can automate it, because I feel like you lose the personal touch. I want control over who I’m commenting back to, what I’m specifically saying.

We’re on LinkedIn to build our networks. To network with other people that are like-minded. And to grow and level up.

Why would I want something to automate that for me? I feel like that’s the one thing that I’m on there for.

So, is there an automation/personalization sweet spot? What have you been able to automate without losing out on human connection?
