Think about what the lack of alignment around messaging may actually be costing you. How much longer it takes to create successful campaigns and projects, and the lack of impact that unfocused, incoherent messaging has on the people you’re trying to influence.
If your messaging is killing it—if your campaigns are effective, if your landing pages and emails are converting, if everybody’s thrilled with the results—then keep doing what you’re doing.
But if your messaging feels generic or bloated, and it’s not helping to convert prospects into customers, then take a moment to consider how alignment bottlenecks may be contributing to the problem.
Building a more focused, coherent messaging strategy takes effort, but the payoff of overcoming those bottlenecks is worth it. Creating profitable campaigns, engaging content, and targeted collateral will be much easier and faster in the long run.
